Yoga classes
Yoga is a great way to lengthen, strengthen and tone your muscles and stretch away the stresses of the day! Both classes are taught by experienced Yoga Instructors and are suitable for beginners and intermediate.
Mats and equipment provided. Wear clothing that won’t restrict your movement. This class will get your body temperature up, so wear t-shirts and trackies or shorts. Footwear not required during class.
Ashtanga Yoga
Ashtanga focuses on dynamic connecting poses creating a flow between the more static traditional yoga postures whilst linking the movement to the breath. Essentially the breath dictates the movement and the length of time held in the postures. It also improves flexibility, as well as tendon and hard tissue strength.
Flow-Yoga
Beginning with gentle, rythmical warming movements you flow into strength and balance poses, then ease into longer stretches and relaxation. Sometimes called vinyasa yoga, in this style you flow from one pose to the next with concious, rhythmic breath.
Sessions will include a variety of sequences including sun salutes.
